Slacker

I have been a MAJOR slacker in the blog world...until now. I am officially done with work and have nothing to do but wait for baby Dallace to get here so there are NO excuses for this thing not being up to date. So, here's an update for all of you!
There is quite a bit new with us: we went through the temple in April, We bought our first car, Luke started a new job, I quit mine, Tank leads a much more exciting life, and we are slowly but surely getting closer to meeting our daughter-Dallace Marie. I'll break it down for you a little bit more...

Brit & Dallace:
For about 3 weeks I had been having contractions off and on. I'm not talking braxton hicks, I mean hard to breathe every 3 minutes contractions. We went to the hospital twice where they proceeded to give me a shot of Terbutaline to stop the contractions. My OB told me to just hang in there till at least 36 weeks and after that
it would be perfectly safe to have her. I went to my doctor appointment today and I am 70 % effaced and 1 1/2 centimeters dilated. How exciting!! There actually is some kind of progress going on down there. Dr. Mulholland also set the date for me to be induced if she decides to not make her big appearance on her own, June 25th at 7:00 a.m. Now we wait. My mom won't be up here until the 23rd so, it'd be nice if she could hold out till then. We'll see.

Here is me at 36 weeks

Luke:

Luke started his new job out at Hanford a little over a month ago. Overall he is liking it. It's easy on him (he's just been training until now) and the schedule is perfect for family life. He quit the airport to go work out at the area and although he misses a few people he worked with out there he doesn't miss those 3:00 a.m. mornings in the slightest. He is really starting to get excited about little baby Dallace, too. He can't wait to see what she looks like but is still kind of freaked out when he can see or feel a foot stick out of my belly.

Here is Luke with our new car

Tank:
Tank is the happiest dog on the planet now that I'm home with him all day. He almost never has to go in his kennel. We go on walks and take naps. It's a pretty tough life, so he does get worn out and when given the opportunity will pass out anywhere he can..

Here he is on the couch
Here he is on the ground in front of the bed...too tired to jump on the bed

He could very well be sleeping behind my shades.

Here is on top of the couch...we woke him up..

So that's pretty much all that's new with us for now!
